Arrange assessment
Discuss unsteadiness or transfer difficulties with a physiotherapist or occupational therapist. Walking sticks, frames, rollators and transfer devices serve different purposes.
Compare practical details
Check adjustment range, weight limits and instructions. Consider doorways, surfaces and who will help. Arrange instruction and review use after delivery.
Avoid substitutes
A household trolley is not automatically a walking support. Do not rely on furniture or an unassessed device for weight-bearing or assisted transfers.
